how to install orkut theme ?
1]install mozilla firefox as your browser,download- firefox3.0
2] install grease monkey plug-in.download- greasemonkey.xpi
3]drag-drop the greasemonkey.xpi file in to Mozillafirefox window. click install.
4]download your Orkuttheme file -eg: (emma1 theme) to your computer (keep firefox open with greasemonkey running)
5] drag-n-drop selected theme into orkut page
6] click ok and refresh
- troubleshooting:
1] why i cant see my themes
ans-if you folow the instructions properly theres shoud be no prob,you will be seeing themes after3-4seconds you hit refresh. recheck if you installed greasemonkey properly or not,(the red monkey toogle icon on the right lower corner of your browser window.remember its a toogle icon button.
2]still i cant see my themes
ans-have you disabled the default themes profided by orkut from the orkut settings page? you have to disable default orkut basic themes or new orkut themes provided by orkut from the settings main page,once you disable those themes you see the default old blue black orkut window.now you can refresh page and it should be working.
3]pages are not reloading or slow to respond ?
ans-some themes are heavy in size due to graphics quality,please allow the pages to load properly,in the least slow connection it may take max7-9 seconds to appear.if still the theme dosent work install another theme.
